Creative Fun Days

Every third Saturday of the month, I am opening up my home from 12:30 – 5:00 (or whenever) for anyone that wants to come over to work on creative projects and ideas with other people that enjoy these kinds of activities.  

It is an open house – so you can come when you want and stay as long or as short as you want to stay.  This is an open invitation, so if you can’t come one month, come the next.  Bring creative friends if you want.

I want this to be an opportunity for people to get together casually to create and inspire one another.  I would love to see it grow over time, but I will be happy just to know that I have an afternoon set aside each month with a focus on creating.

This is your chance to get out of the house and work on any project that you really would like to do or learn how to do, but just have not taken the time as of yet.  This is an offer of time and space.  Sometimes just having some scheduled time to do something makes it happen.

 ·       Bring a project that you have been wanting to complete or work on

·         Bring a project or even a recipe that you have been wanting to try – something you saw on Pinterest or another website or magazine

·         Bring an idea that you want to work on and perhaps brainstorm with other creative people

·         Bring something that you picked up at a yard sale or by the side of the road that you want to turn into something new or updated

Projects can include anything from hands on crafts or art work to scrapbooking to writing to drawing to planning a project or event.  You can work on anything that you think is creative and fun for you since it is a Creative Fun Day.  

You will be expected to bring most of your own supplies,  However if there is something big that you need, like a sewing machine or specific tool, then I might have that available.  Some random supplies may also be available.  Let me know what you need in advance and I will tell you if I have it or if I can find one to borrow.  I also have wi-fi available if you need it.
